Award Winning Training

Our Training
The DFA training course will give you the skills and confidence to provide an effective first response at the scene of a road traffic collision
›What You Will Learn
The first-aid skills necessary to treat a casualty in those first few minutes at an RTC are the same as those of a fixed-workplace first aider but the environment is far harder to control.
First-aid training for the road network must also take into account that there may still be other vehicles moving around.
Protecting the collision scene and preventing further injury are also essential components of an effective response.
You will learn that a first responder at an RTC requires specialist training, which the DFA course will give you.
›Content Overview
The training programme is delivered by highly qualified and experienced emergency services personnel, who will teach you:
- Command and control techniques for scene safety
- Emergency service messaging
- Trauma-based first-aid skills
- Guidance for all types of road vehicles and users
We will also provide you with the DFA Toolkit containing a first-aid kit and a DFA logo-ed hi visibility over-jacket to identify you as a DFA trained first responder.
First aid can drive substantial change in reducing road fatalities
